Clutch in leading-off work seems to have slipped Oct12th 11am causing sudden 30 seconds late timekeeping

Hmmm...doesn't seem to be the clutch- marks show no slipping. Possible issue with escapement wheel not moving forward properly.

Yes, escapement wheel sometimes taking 93 or 96 seconds for one rotation as opposed to 90 seconds design time. Added a little more weight to the drive weight, but still occasional stoppages. I have now added a counterweight to the hour strike lever which seems to have reduced the effort needed to raise it, reducing the force required from the drive system, and no recent stoppages. Also, remarkably, the hour strike time (timekeeping) is now much more consistent than hitherto.

Possible slippage again 22-23/03/2022? Sudden reduction in swing speed (= increase in swing amplitude) after sudden negative change in timekeeping.

Possible slippage again. Doesn't seem to be any change in swing-time (i.e. amplitude of swing).
