2015.12.15 When the blower in the air handler runs the inlet and outlet temperatures will diverge depending on whether the unit is heating or cooling. When not running, the temperatures will be close to the room temperature in the house.

Looks like the last data was from October 2016. Are you still using this setup? How has the reliability of the ES8266 been?

2017.07.27 - Entirely new unit installed. When the unit senses a temperature difference between inlet and outlet air, it closes a relay that switches ON an Ultra Violet disinfectant lamp.
